Here are the teachers who might be teaching your class if the regular teacher is out of town:
A Seattle native, Jillian began to dive deep into yoga after graduating with a BA in Kinesiology: Health and Human Performance from Saint Mary's College of California, where she played four years of Division 1 Lacrosse. Trained in the styles of Ashtanga and Hatha from the Association of Yoga and Meditation in Rishikesh, India, she brings a unique fusion of dynamic, meditative and athletic sequences reflecting her love of coaching and work in Physical Therapy.
I enjoy blending various stimulating activities into my life. Ten years ago I was drawn to yoga after taking a free class for students. I left my first class feeling lighter, centered, awake, and still. I knew this was a powerful medicine I wanted to keep exploring, and it was a logical step from the years of ballet I took growing up. I continued to practice yoga throughout college, where I studied Engineering and Studio Art. My last year of college I took a 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teachers Training course. Ever since I have taught yoga and practiced yoga on my own. Outside of yoga I practice civil engineering, Healing Touch (similar to reiki), painting, hiking, playing music, and whatever else I have become interested in. I have found my life is clearer and more grounded when I am able to center and clear myself through the practice of yoga and energy work. I love teaching yoga and energy work. I love the creativity in creating different class sequences, in bringing different messages to class, and in leading others to a place of center and calm.
